WHY FAISALABAD IS A STRONG FIT FOR SOLAR
Built for High Daytime Load
As Pakistan’s textile hub, Faisalabad has no shortage of power-hungry homes, shops and small industrial units running machinery, motors and air conditioning through the day. That daytime load profile is exactly where solar, especially a correctly sized hybrid or commercial system, delivers the fastest payback.
Faisalabad falls under FESCO, the same DISCO we already work with daily from our Jhang base, so the net billing process is one we handle routinely.
FESCO NET BILLING
What Changed in 2026
On 9 February 2026, NEPRA ended net metering for new customers nationwide and introduced net billing, with surplus units bought back at roughly Rs 8–11 per unit on a 5-year contract. Existing net metering customers in Faisalabad keep their old terms. We submit and track the FESCO application for every new installation. Read our full net metering & net billing guide →
